Asphalt Milling

Asphalt milling removes the top layer of damaged or uneven pavement, grinding it down to a smooth, level base before new asphalt is installed. It's the step that lets us resurface a lot without raising curb heights or digging out the full roadbed — ideal for parking lots, roadways, and driveways where the surface has rutted, cracked, or settled unevenly but the base underneath is still structurally sound.

Milling makes sense when:

Uneven Lots — Grinding down humps, dips, and rutting before repaving for a flat, consistent surface.

Pre-Overlay Prep — Removing the worn top layer so new asphalt bonds properly without raising the grade.

Drainage Correction — Re-profiling slope so water sheets off instead of pooling.

Utility & Manhole Adjustments — Milling around fixed structures so covers and drains sit flush with the new surface.

Our crews use precision milling equipment to remove pavement in controlled depths, haul off the reclaimed material, and leave a clean, compacted surface ready for new asphalt. Milling depth and area are measured on site so the finished grade meets drainage and height requirements before paving begins.
